I was commissioned by Arts Council NI to facilitate Phase 1 community consultation and creative engagement of the Building Peace through the Arts, Re-Imaging Communities project in Latt in Newry.
The programme supported communities to help tackles signs of sectarianism and racism and provided opportunities to promote tolerance and understanding while using the arts to express who they are and what culture means to them.
I designed a leaflet and poster to promote the project and public workshop and held a number of workshops with community groups and schools in the area. Some amazing stories and insights were exchanged during the workshops and participants produced some beautiful visual artworks.
